Joseph Fried

Joseph is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. While in school, he interned for the Honorable Robert N. McDonald on Maryland’s highest appellate court. He also worked in the Consumer Bankruptcy Clinic where he guided his clients through the Chapter 7 bankruptcy process. In addition, Joseph served as an editor for the Journal of Healthcare Law and Policy.

Prior to specializing in Estates & Trusts, Joseph practiced commercial and civil litigation. He now uses his litigation background in his estate planning practice to help clients shelter their assets and protect their privacy.

Joseph regularly lectures on the topic of estate planning, and has served on Q&A panels alongside other professionals. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, competing in his tennis league and playing the piano.

He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Estates and Trusts section.
